Getting Help with Canvas
Stuck on something? There are four ways to get help, and you don't need to leave Canvas to use any of them.

Start Here module
Ask a person
Click Support in the main left-hand navigation. You'll find four options:
- JMC Support & Services — for course, enrolment and student-services questions.
- JMC Library — research help, databases, referencing and study resources.
- Search the Canvas Guides — Instructure's official how-to articles covering every Canvas feature.
- Chat with Canvas Support (Students) — live chat with Canvas's own support team for technical issues.
Start Here module
Every student has access to a Start Here module containing Canvas resources for students — short walkthroughs and reference guides curated by JMC. It's the best place to begin if you're new to Canvas.
Ask a person
If you'd rather speak to someone in person, any member of staff can help or point you to the right team. During orientation, ask Eloise.
