Getting Started with Canvas

Canvas is JMC Academy's Learning Management System (LMS) — your home base for class content, assessments, feedback and announcements.

 How to sign in

Canvas uses Single Sign-On (SSO), which means you log in with the same JMC email and password you use for everything else at JMC. There is no separate Canvas password to remember.

First-time setup
  • Open canvas.jmc.edu.au in your browser.
  • Click Sign in with JMC and enter your JMC email credentials.
  • Once you're in, head to the Start Here module on your dashboard for an orientation walkthrough.
Need help signing in?

If your JMC credentials aren't working, contact JMC Support & Services from inside Canvas (left navigation → Support) or speak to any member of staff.
