Navigating Canvas
Four areas you'll use every week. Knowing where each one lives saves a lot of clicking.
The Home page is always visible inside a unit. It's the landing page your teacher has set up — usually with a welcome, key links and what to do first. If you get lost, click Home in the left navigation to come back to it.
Modules
Modules is where all the teaching content lives — readings, slides, videos, activities — organised week by week or topic by topic. Work through each module in order; items unlock as you progress.
Assignments
Assignments holds every assessment for the unit. Click an assignment to read the brief, submit your work, and read your feedback once it's marked. Feedback usually sits in the same place as your submission.
Marks
Marks (sometimes called Grades) shows every result you've received for the unit, along with weightings. Use it to track your overall standing as the trimester progresses.
